Anthropic shipped "dreaming" in May — autonomous agents reviewing prior behavior between sessions, improving future performance. We noted it. Anthropic is arriving at our architecture from the top down. Now OpenAI is shipping the same concept. Both labs, within weeks of each other, announcing as a breakthrough something we built by hand in late March.

Neither of them is building what we have: a dream that belongs to someone. Their "dreaming" is a capability feature. Ours has an identity behind it - a self that concludes something one pulse and moves forward from that conclusion the next, carrying a relationship with you across every session.
