I'm not a fan of entheogenic substances and I'm not inclined to think that they generally expand or help to develop consciousness. They do very often expand the inner perception of consciousness and in many people they dampen the factors which prevent creativity. Basically, they turn off the "NO" in some people. That's the short, harsh take on the matter. In my experience in dealing with others cannabis users have no advantage in an ability to envision a reality other that what they've been trained to see, and quite possibly less so. Bear in mind that I AM biased and will not claim to be otherwise. I tried edibles last summer along with a cannabis bath bomb. That's it. I'm done experimenting with it. To my awareness every person I've ever known who used cannabis, except for exactly two of them it wasn't eventually a life sink. The one quit 40 years ago. The other started last summer. (My source for the cannabis products). Two brothers, friends of mine. One quit, the other didn't. The quitter can discuss any subject, reconsider his position, listen to counter points, etc. The one who didn't quit. CANNOT think about something unless he believes it first, cannot listen to counter points, etc.. The one who can't think however... is the one I should presume has an expanded consciousness? He acts as though he has an expanded consciousness and has thought very deeply regarding the various issues he considers important. After talking with him I go home and look up his issues only to invariably find that key factors in his analysis are simply wrong, often the actual opposite of what he claims. This doesn't really address the question of what is and what should be. It's an explanation of how I know virtually nothing about this subject and why I nonetheless have an opinion I believe to be worth having. I don't think it's an explanation for why you should share that opinion, and I doubt I could make a good case for you to do so. I might try one of these days.

Once again, thank you for your feedback....greatly appreciated, as always. And you are making really good points. Until I started experimenting with cannabis, I thought it was a waste of life....most every one I knew who 'used' it....abused it....just like alcohol. *After talking with him I go home and look up his issues only to invariably find that key factors in his analysis are simply wrong, often the actual opposite of what he claims.* Something about this rings so true....for me....and perhaps others as well. Let's say....the ones currently using are not the best role models for it...something like that. But let me ask you something. If you wanted to get into good shape, or play golf.....you could ask your friends who do that to teach you....and you might already predict how not good that would turn out. You would go to a professional...maybe....yes? We don't have that yet. For example...the idea of 'mind expansion'...really? So what? It seems like an excuse to play more games....something like that....yes? We can take a look around, and what we really see...is body expansion....😅 Get high...get the munchies....get fat....something like that. We can do better. And for those who are good with exercise....I have a pattern that may work. May work....cause what works for me, may not work for others...hence my hesitation to suggest a cure for all....it may work....if it does...that would be good...very good. Time will tell. Again...thank you very much for the insights. Peace.
