Hit and run. I saw a woman in a crosswalk get hit by a car going about 50 (it was early in the morning and dark) She flew across the intersection. Thankfully there were two sheriff deputies at the gas station on the corner. They saw it too and immediately responded. I drove to work in shock, I don’t even remember how I got into my office. I sat down at my desk and cried. She didn’t survive.
