It should be more about character/worthiness, than just class.

True... but you like Tate, a man who is physically abusive towards women, so your judge of charter maybe isn't all that... Plus, we're all flawed to some degree, why give your power/sovereignty to some other, simply exercise it yourself.

''True... but you like Tate, a man who is physically abusive towards women, so your judge of charter maybe isn't all that...'' Dude, you cannot make an omelet, without breaking a few eggs. ''so your judge of charter maybe isn't all that...'' Tate is the only person who told this profound truth, in public no less: Do not trust a dude who cannot say, 'no' to his wife/gf when they are being dumb, in the matters of profound importance, not petty stuff. You do not want him as a partner in business. Boy, do I know from my life, and others as well?! ''Plus, we're all flawed to some degree, ...'' .....yes, including Tate, so why jump on Tate for his flaws, instead of examining the pros and cons, on overall basis. ''...why give your power/sovereignty to some other, simply exercise it yourself.'' Yes, provided I would be strong enough; that would be the ideal scenario, but what if you are not strong enough, maybe, not yet? Besides, why do you think not abusing women should be a priority over other matters? Aren't you letting others decide what should be priority? If one is strong enough, one has the right to decide; just look at U.S. and how U.S. had committed mass murders, and got away with it, building the foundation of a superpower. Now, committing mass murder is a far more grave matter than the claim of abuse of women, even if that claim turned out to be true. Now, you are not claiming abusing women is far more grave matter than mass murder, are you?
