Easy, complete separation of politics and corporate interests(no lobbying). Give politicians a higher base salary equivalent to like a doctor and make so if they cant receive any donations or they will be disqualified and face legal consequences. This would ensure the people in office aren't swayed by corporate interests and actually do things that help the country. It would also help people who aren't friends with billionaires get a fair shot at office. Instead, in all western governments, we have a puppet gong show all being manipulated by elite interests. How can you really blame them, most people would cave if they were offered a few million to do something and that's why we need to make sure its heavily enforced and investigated(basically get the FBI to do their fucking job).
