I could argue that anything we ask for, whether prayer or manifestation has a self desire attached

Sadly, I’m guilty of the prayer of self desire! Yet, this is the prayer Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane knowing what was immediately about to happen! The “cup” is the cup of devine wrath. Yet he was willingly about to take it as God the Father willed. Luke 22:42 KJV - Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Manifestation is purely self desiring. That's why good churches stay the hell a way from it. But biblically sounded prayer, is praying for others and praying that God's will could be accomplished through us. My main point is,... (Manifestation) Your thought + faith = result in future (Prayer) Your prayer + faith = result in future The only difference is what you have your faith in. Manifestation is having faith in yourself, the universe, chi-gong, or whatever. Angels, from their time of creation, have natural abilities. God hasn't taken their powers away from them when Satan fell from grace. Could it be that man has a power to control our outcomes in life, with enough faith. You probably have seen things in your own life where you can't explain why prayers were answered or why very driven business people can't seem to fail. It happens.

But of course God Almighty has already spoken truth into existence, and therefore any successes in evil will have no power over the future already spoken by God. The bad angels probably think that they can change the outcome by manipulating humanity.
