Wiffle bawl. Simpler, nice physical game that gets the blood pumping. I have enough problems with escapism and physical inactivity as it is, and D&D wouldn't help either. Also with wiffle bawl, the emotional and social maturity of the people you play with won't factor into the gameplay like it does D&D. By that I mean: a) the Dungeon Master would need to be fair, have high EQ to deal with all kinds of players, and be capable of decent storytelling. b) the players would need to take the game seriously enough to participate in good faith and fun. But *not* so serious (or mentally ill) that they overdo it and completely project themselves (or their 'ideal selves') onto their D&D characters. As in, making everyone else uncomfortable to witness the childish defensiveness of what amounts to the personification of their insecurities/darker fantasies. No me gusta cringe 😅.
