Accurate history of this tragedy? A ship was sailing into a known war zone by itself. It had a single flag up.

I did a "deep" dive on this. It seems to be mistakes were made during a war time environment. They thought it was better to blow something up during that time rather than ask questions. With humans "shit" happens. The reason normally given is to get America in the war. The war ended in 8 days or so. They didn't need America. But with that being said, steel buildings don't implode on 9/11 and since then our messing around in the middle east for one country is hard to deny. ISIS Israeli Secret Intelligence Service never attacked Israel, quite strangely. All the world is a show... My skepticism is always high:)
