I don’t see the point he makes as racist or bigoted at all. It’s not racist that God chose to bring the prophecy of the Messiah through a particular nation and lineage, while still opening the way for people of every nation to put their faith in Him. The whole Bible is, in many ways, a cautionary historical account of close relationship with God, repeated falling away, and the nation of Israel being described as a stubborn and stiff-necked people. Jesus said in Matthew 21:43 (after the parable of the tenants): “Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits." Paul develops this further. He links Israel’s stumbling to the opening of the way for the Gentiles (Romans 11:11–12) and repeatedly stresses that God has not fully or finally rejected His people. Using the extended metaphor of an olive tree, Paul explains that some of the natural branches (unbelieving Israelites) were broken off because of unbelief, while wild olive branches (Gentiles) were grafted in and now share in the rich root of the tree. This is not a total or permanent rejection of Israel. Paul emphasizes that a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in, and that God is able to graft the natural branches back in again if they do not persist in unbelief. As I see it, everyone has a chance. Matthew 24:14: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

*It’s not racist that God chose to bring the prophecy of the Messiah through a particular nation and lineage, while still opening the way for people of every nation to put their faith in Him.* This is really quite contentious....not trivial....so we can examine this in more detail...but for now....just stating that this is a tough nut to crack. *I don’t see the point he makes as racist or bigoted at all.* And yet, it is both racist and bigoted...it isn't a matter of opinion. It is literally a fact. This isn't contentious, but what it does do, is give you an opportunity to see how you have been blinded by your faith to deny the horrors and abuse the Bible has caused good people since it was written. If it was the Perfect Word of God...then one can easily comprehend that God is not good....God is literally a tyrannical monster of epic proportions. This God/bible literally calls for the death of all living beings....this is demented beyond reasoning. What good can come of premeditated Genocide of the planet.? The fact that we have to ask this question....demon strates....the nature of God. Again...we disagree on the name, nature and existence of God...we have yet to discuss this. And that would be good to discuss....all good. Peace brother.😇

I feel the weight of the baggage and the spirits over here:) If you give me just a little more, I will address things as I see and understand them. I don’t want to imagine tangents and then chase them on my own. It is not always the simplest or easiest thing to form an opinion or understanding of the Bible, or other, with a clean slate. We live in an endless stream of opinions without source material, which often functions like a psyop. I don’t see race or bigotry in this at all, and nothing that affects me in any particular way. God prophesies the Messiah and chooses Abraham... I don’t see where or how race even enters the picture. God makes a covenant with some of the most stubborn people, and if anything it demonstrates God’s patience and universality. I’m not saying we have to read it the same way, but my mind is confused about where in the Bible you find the basis for your certainty or understanding. Regarding “good people” — Jesus said, “No one is good except God alone” (Mark 10:18). Regarding “premeditated genocide of the planet” — Do you know what the Bible actually says about why that happened? Maranatha Brother:)
