Water hose incident? That is severely downplaying the episode. Yes, the Chinese and Indians hit each other with sticks every so often. Yes, Russia dumps fuel on an un-man drone. Those ships the Chinese were spraying with high pressure water hoses had people inside and they could have disabled the vessels by spraying the wheel houses. America "sticking" its nose in places... So I guess colonialism was bad according to you? Which country is a beacon of shining light on the hill of humanity?

The questions are back, yay, easier than a stack of YT clips. A hose is still not how you sink a ship. It's harassment, not an act of war. “America sticking its nose in” is not the same idea as “so colonialism was bad?” Where did that come from? Do I owe you an essay on the British Empire?:) In a world where most Western countries are in a race to third-world themselves, the public numbers are easy to check: economic growth, crime, immigration, foreign policy, and wars. A strong military sitting on a progressively handicapped domestic economy is not what I call a win. It might still give you a projected feel-good high.

Can people be killed by using high pressure water and shooting it at someone? Is water a chemical? Is using water chemical warfare? America "sticking" its nose in places could be interpreted as a type of colonialism. Classify Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan in what you would consider 1, 2 or 3 world countries.

Don’t make me lose IQ points over this. Using water is not chemical warfare. I don’t know why your mind even wants to conflate the two. All the pressure the US or any other state exerts still does not qualify as colonialism. You might make a case for regime capture, or a puppet state/satellite. Cold War classification isn’t useful today. It’s easy to picture what people mean by “first world” and “third world,” but you’re better off looking up the economic indicators you actually are actually interested in.
