Seems like your observation....*I was already staking a claim*....is a focal point worthy of more consideration. Perhaps we could look at this as an adventurous approach to *passive versus active* ...*acceptance vs creation* of faith....over time? Like a Venn diagram of possibilities....and then we could analyze which one would prove more 'resilient' over the millennia? 1 - Acceptance of Faith - active vs passive 2 - Creation of Faith - active vs passive 3 - Acceptance or Creation of Faith 4 - Acceptance and Creation of Faith So one, two, and three deal with 'or'. You have three stakes....yes? These ideas, and ideals will play out... but good to have an overview of what we might want to accomplish...if anything...the exposure to each other's ideas may prove to be an interesting collaboration into.....well....time will tell. And here we are. Maranatha😇

This is why I still like "The Faith Dilemma" for its neutrality. I quickly realized reading your suggestion that we can easily and maybe unconsciously sometimes start to frame/stake our positions. I always saw this as collaboration in the sense of us hashing out ideas, meaning and experiences to understand better ourselves and each other. I mentioned before that I'm not here to win debates etc but to consciously understand and evaluate my position and understanding and to be able to share/express that. I think we are facing acceptance and or creation of faith and bound by innate human drive or capacity for worship, spirituality, and morality. And this is why the title “The Faith Dilemma” still feels right to me. Reading your perspectives is already an adventure and a win:) Maranatha

Once again....your points are well taken. Especially the parts about collaboration vs winning debate. The win here is having the opportunity to have this level of communication at all. Your title...."The Faith Dilemma"...feels like a keeper. Good...all good. Maranatha
