Yes....and you are making a good point, and the sentiment in his comment seems legit. However, he was/is making light of suicide....and that is my contention. He was vulnerable....not suicidal. When he says that painting saved his life....he is being romantic....not realistic. He is an actor.....they tend to be more dramatic than honest. Just an observation. The painting gave him an insight....that he was looking for....he wasn't looking to kill himself....he was looking for a reason....or many....to live. And he found one....and he told that story. That he overcame a difficult time in his life...is inspiration enough...without the extra drama. :) He is an inspiration to a lot of people.....we can both take his story at face value. It relates and inspires....but not so sure how grounded that pattern is. Peace.😇

"Semantics," the goblin mask whispers:) Your observation is perfectly reasonable and can easily be closer to the truth, inspiration doesn’t need extra drama to be impactful. I’m neutral-to-likeable on Murray overall with zero real insight and I was inclined not to overthink the wholesome story:)

I like Bill Murray.....he has redeeming talents....for sure. *Not overthinking the wholesome story.*.....this is right. That... in and of itself....is a skill. Bill Murray probably put considerably less thought into the story than I did *overthinking* it. 🤣 As it should be. Peace.😇
