Ostensibly, all currencies compete on merit. stupid people just need to stop giving meme coins any merit. After a certain point it’s just another form of gambling.

on this we agree. Memecoins are almost always bad. But also complete government control of crypto regulation could also be bad. Who watches the watchers. Not that the Fiat currency is doing good either. Thats Why I feel actually a regulated vs deregulated currency system could work. One side is safe one side is speculative, whether both are cryptos or one backed by a commodity whatever combination. I'm also not an economist and don't know enough about crypto, or financial systems though.
