My ideal algorithm that I'm running in parallel is something like: 1\. Ask ChatGPT to figure out your denomination by asking you questions 2\. Ask it to figure out which churches in your area line up with that denomination 3\. Visit each of them sequentially on Sundays and narrow it down to where you feel belonging and where you feel like you can invest in that church However the algorithm that has actually worked is: ask Doug Wilson to connect you with someone in your area for a church rec

I like it!! But wouldn't your answers be based on your pre existing perceptions and misconceptions of Christianity? Only started going to church 2 years ago, and am at a calvinist brethren church at the moment. I also have friends at a Baptist church, which has a female pastor (which my brethren church takes issue with), but for me picking was more about the vibe from the service. Funnily I prefer those at my church, but really enjoy fellowship with the Baptist church friends.

I think I know what you mean but perhaps I don't. Would you mean that you get "locked in" to your beliefs because you codified it before finding a church?
