Actually verse 16 may be lending some context as well... Isaiah 24:15-16 NKJV 15 The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, Because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, **%%Broken the everlasting covenant.%%** 6 16 Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, And those who dwell in it are **%%desolate%%**. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, And few men *are* left Is this saying that the abomination of desolation is when the everlasting covenant is broken? Would removing the Blood from the Mercy Seat be the only way to accomplish that? This is new to me, stumbled up it researching the "Hata" clan of Japan, and the possibility that they they are a lost tribe of Israel, who were chirstian israelites that went to japan in 300ad, after settling in Korea for a long time. Saw a verse mentioned, but something told me to look up the whole chapter. Boom. \*elation ensueth\*
