I may be dating myself, but I spent a significant amount of time in my youth in Indiana long before the state began practicing daylight savings time^1^. It was a lot easier to lock into routine without the shift. Disruption of schedule and the biological clocks tuning therewith can have a tremendous impact. This is why, for example, the key to beating jet-lag has been the age old method of tuning your eating schedule to that of your destination's prior to the travel^2^. However, forcibly doing this inevitably changes the energy flow within both the body and mind. **tl,dr; and As a result, I can say that I prefer a constant standard time.** ^1 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_in_Indiana^ ^2 Body hack^

I never thought about the connection between the eating schedule and jet lag 🤔. I prefer standard time too.
