We are not. Christ is wholly present in both so when you receive either you receive the fullness of Christ. I am sorry you feel like everything is being stripped away but unfortunately this practice of not giving out the blood started during Covid and still exists. If I were a guessing man I would assume this practice will be re-introduced in the near future in many churches. Many blessings to you brother and welcome to the group.
