just give it time, once he understands more of you he will grow fond of you:) People are on edge because they are surrounded with constant lies, propaganda and pysops. Look what covid propaganda did to families etc.

I have a liking for that word, it introduces some comic relief, I like nolage also for that matter. If I thought methed up was below the belt I wouldn't use it. I'm too isolated from that scene so it doesn't have any other meaning than comedic. With your chaos energy you should have been a queen:)
