Thank you for that and great write up too! I too, at least philosophically, align myself with anarchism. I agree we rely too much on external influences of power, to shape our own destiny and moral compass, but I also believe materialism is what really disconnected us from reality, giving over to the authority that be, to do the thinking and decision making because we are soft. Back in the day, despite all their faults, the people, commoners, would eventually hold their leaders accountable, often with public executions, if they intentionally lead the flock astray. I think materialism, nihilism, and hedonism is what fuels the powers that be and gives them an iron grip over us. You said you consider yourself spiritual person and that's good! I think those are the types of people that question and challenge authority, but I think, at least in the west, spiritual people are the small minority... People in small communities, look out for one another, and are more accountable to each other who hold themselves responsible for their own actions, and with honor. Not so much honor nowadays... however, there may be a great spiritual awakening on the horizon we will see!
