I also read certain breeds get broody more than others or not at all. But that’s not always the case since each one have their own unique personalities. And it definitely can be seasonal for them. Many are particularly broody mostly during the spring.

Interesting, never thought about the breed. We have Orpingtons- they're a dual purpose breed.
