I am taking your advice from a previous post and I also found a pest control guy online. Who recommended some very good organic product products. My problem with ticks is half the property is wooded. When I did the first walk around, I actually pulled a Lonestar tick off my arm

Everything is basically permethrin. You can go buy it full strength if you want An all natural bug killer is a propane tank with a weed burner attachment. From dealing with bugs in Georgia, they don't care about "natural" bug killers or sprays that keep them away. You have to directly kill the bug/bugs. I would have some clothes you use for around the yard and then take them off and leave them outside until you get a perimeter setup. Lots of people will spray their clothes and then let them dry out. Bugs and mother nature don't care about you. Proceed with the same knowledge... Machinery and the right tools will make jobs way easier.

Just start cutting grass down and trimming back overgrowth. It will be a slow but rewarding process. But for everything you cut, you have to maintain. The world is full of give and takes...
