It is a middle ground for me, I would prefer to share my thoughts and leave but he was making it personal and putting some crazy expectations/responsibilities on me. But as you saw and I have seen previously, he latches on to very specific things and extrapolates perhaps his own reality with it. It is a bit strange but obvious if you see it enough times. I don't want to think poorly of him but he can waste your time and energy. I'm glad I had my little exercise with him today to understand this better. It is mainly the poisoning the well/thread that is most annoying. I don't need to be right but sharing/exchanging view points is enough for me.
