Assassin bugs\*, mantises and ladybugs all eat younger soft-bodied stink bugs and all types of stink bug eggs, but won't harm your tomatoes. They are a great natural control mechanism. Ladybugs also eat aphids, mealybugs and spider mites, and 1 bug can eat hundreds of aphids in its short lifetime. Worth noting - ladybugs are migratory and may just fly away lol. Releasing them at night makes them more likely to settle into your garden and stay. But, you can buy 3000 ladybugs on Amazon for $35, so they are easy enough to replace. Praying mantises also eat grasshoppers, beetles and caterpillars. They are more expensive, but you only need a few to manage a decent sized garden. There are also really expensive, rare mantises that people keep as pets that can run you several hundred dollars a piece. I would not recommend those for your garden lol. \*Assassin bugs also eat squash bugs, tomato hornworms and leafhoppers. However, they are someone indiscriminate and will sometimes eat beneficial insects like bees or lacewings. If you already have them, cool, but if not, I generally wouldn't introduce them unless you specifically have a problem with squash bugs of tomato hornworms (which suck). Having a good population of those 3 knocks out a large number of pest issues naturally.
