What a great video! I have to say that usually I can’t stand these concrete buildings because they could be anything. They could be a house where people dance and laugh or they could be a part of a military installation where not so great things happen. When I see them, my heart doesn’t fill with happiness. However, I do have to admit that precisely what bothers me about the structures is what makes them so appealing to others-they can be whatever we want them to be. They can be used for anything. They are so bare that they can slip into the background and the surrounding area is what becomes the focus instead of the structure itself. These photos from the video are breathtaking and I wouldn’t mind living in these examples of brutalist art.
