Prompt Hi! I’ve got a strange idea but I’m going to ramble and try to explain so as to hopefully get your help. So, when in circus, trapeze artists often have ladders. I had a vision that a woman and her husband had parallel ladders. However, and this is going to touch on Christian allusion, biblical allusion, the rungs of the ladder wouldn’t appear until they took physical steps. So, if you can imagine this, she’s on a rope ladder at the top. Only a few rungs are visible and it’s only when she begins taking steps down, out of faith, that the next rung appears. She can’t get to the ground until she creates the rungs. Simultaneously, the man is at the bottom, on the ground, trying to get to the top. Visually, it’s very weird because, in faith, he can visualize the rope ladder as if it was already there but, like her, he can’t make the rungs appear until he steps up. For the woman, getting down is about the fear of falling. For him, it’s about appearing to look foolish because, to the naked eye, the ladder doesn’t exist and there doesn’t seem to be a reason to climb. He’s just lifting his foot, going through motions and it appears ridiculous. I’m saying all of this to ask for your help in retelling that story poetically using an appropriate pentameter. Further, can you please generate an image of this? I need a clear depiction of a circus and their struggle in creating safety, the ladders, together.
