America produces a lot of power, Texas is the fourth largest producer of oil in the world also 4th in solar and wind. We also have lots of farms and America produces a lot of products, I don't think it will be as apocalyptic as you say. We have warehouses full of stuff and the ability to produce more things. We could very easily decentralize power.  Bio-mass is all over the planet. [video]
