Muslims like to portray they are "good". Islam and Muslims have been doing slavery since their god sent down a book that says not to. Islam makes proclamations about many things. Islam and Muslims still practice slavery today all while "Christians" stopped the practice awhile ago.

If slavery proves Islam is uniquely “evil,” then what conclusion should we draw from: Christian Europe’s role in the Atlantic slave trade, colonial slavery in the Americas, segregation, or modern slavery and trafficking in non-Muslim countries today? Is slavery uniquely Islamic? Or is it a recurring human failure that has appeared across civilizations, religions, and political systems? And another question: Should a religion be judged solely by the worst actions of states and empires associated with it? If so, would Christianity be reducible to: colonial conquest, the Inquisition, slave trading, and racial segregation carried out under Christian banners? Or should we distinguish between: scripture, political empires, and human behavior? Because those are not always the same thing. I also appreciate Christopher Hitchens, by the way — which is partly why I think consistency of reasoning matters here more than tribal conclusions.

*"Should a religion be judged solely by the worst actions of states and empires associated with it?* *If so, would Christianity be reducible to:* *colonial conquest,* *the Inquisition,* *slave trading,* *and racial segregation carried out under Christian banners?"* Not solely by the worst actions.....but at least by the worst actions. Christianity is literally evil.  The gaslighting involved is ubiquitous. Is the above a statement of obvious fact....or just contentious rhetoric at play? The religious have a way of playing fast and loose with the language.....truth is not the goal. Compliance to their narrative is their goal. And here we are. Peace.😇

So is that why you're planning your big escape to an Islamic country, to finally put every last Christian cultural aspect and artifact behind you and live the dream?  Because if Christianity is literally evil and we're judging religions by their worst actions... your relocation is looking highly questionable:) I will be waiting to hear the details:)
