"along side U.S. troops within 18 months" Is this one of those thing that have already been done and we might just be hearing about it? I can never tell. The effect of drones in Crimea and especially the Donbas on logistics has been overwhelming but they are launching from commercial trucks I think?

Ahh, there are already flying drones over our heads for a long time. I'm not worried about the slow walking humanoid ones. I feel like a robot flying over head with a missile is more dangerous.
