I should really work on this. My inner dialog can become distracting when I try to read my Bible but this post is one of those wake up calls for me to focus and study. Thank you for that I like your honesty

Grew up Seventh day Adventist my whole life. I’m still struggling with spending time with God, hearing His voice. Just struggling really bad. Please pray for me, that I may do a better job focusing. Thank you so much for this post.

Amen. Spending time in prayer has helped me tremendously in taming my inner dialogue. Stick with it; your time with the Lord is most important.

Perhaps, it is more about how we respond to His will, and what He is doing. #OneCreatorGod Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Romans 8:5-8 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
